Chengsthetics is operated by Jeffery Cheng in Texas, United States (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you visit chengsthetics.life, contact us through the website, or use its AI chat assistant. Questions or requests can be sent to chengsthetics@gmail.com.
1. Information collected
- Contact requests: your name, email address, selected fitness goal, message, and any other information you choose to include.
- Chat messages: the text you send to the AI assistant and the conversation history needed to respond.
- Technical information: service providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, request times, referring pages, and security or error logs when delivering the website, fonts, forms, and chat.
Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, injury details, financial account information, passwords, or other sensitive information through the contact form or AI chat. Ask Jeffery how to discuss any health information needed for coaching before sharing it. This policy covers the website; additional notices may apply to a separate coaching intake or service.
2. How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, discuss requested coaching, generate chat replies, operate the website, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter. We do not use the website’s form or chat to sell personal information or to build targeted advertising profiles.
3. Service providers and sharing
Information is shared as needed to provide the features you choose:
- Formspree processes contact form submissions and delivers them to us. Submitted information may be retained in its service and our email inbox. See Formspree’s privacy policy.
- Netlify supports the website’s chat function and may process technical requests and logs. See Netlify’s privacy statement.
- OpenAI processes chat messages to generate AI responses. When you send a message, conversation history is sent to the chat server; the AI request includes up to the latest 20 messages. Provider retention depends on applicable service settings and obligations. See OpenAI’s API data controls.
- Google Fonts supplies typefaces. Your browser contacts Google’s servers to load them, which involves transmitting technical request information such as your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Email providers handle messages sent to or from our contact email address.
We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. Social media links lead to independently operated services whose own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
4. Cookies, chat history, and downloads
The website’s own code does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The chat keeps its conversation in page memory rather than browser local storage; closing the chat panel does not erase that conversation, but reloading the page clears its local display. This does not delete information already processed or retained by providers.
Providers may use their own security or service technologies. Browser settings can limit cookies, although some features may be affected. Downloading the workout tracker does not require a contact form submission. Information you enter in your downloaded spreadsheet is not automatically sent to Chengsthetics; a cloud spreadsheet service you choose to use has its own privacy practices.
5. Retention and security
We retain inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond, maintain an ongoing relationship, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Retention varies by the purpose, sensitivity, and provider involved; this website does not promise immediate deletion of provider logs or backups. You may ask us to delete information we hold. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse without submitting a form or using chat. To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Chengsthetics, or to stop optional communications, email chengsthetics@gmail.com. Describe your request and the email address used to contact us; do not send identity documents unless we arrange a necessary, appropriate verification method.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to your local privacy authority. Where Texas privacy law applies, eligible consumers may also appeal a denied privacy request by replying to our response or emailing us with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. We will explain the outcome and any further complaint options required by law. Rights may have exceptions, including required retention. We will handle applicable requests within the deadlines required by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
7. International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Applicable contractual and legal requirements govern those transfers. Contact us with questions before submitting information.
8. Children and young visitors
The contact form and AI chat are not intended for children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. Chengsthetics offers coaching to clients under 18 with parent or legal guardian involvement. A parent or guardian must contact Jeffery and provide any required permission before a minor begins coaching. Any information needed for a minor’s coaching, and how it will be handled, must be discussed separately with the parent or guardian. This website policy is not parental consent or a participation waiver. If a child is under 13, a parent or guardian should contact Jeffery themselves without including the child’s sensitive information in the form; the child should not use the form or chat.
9. Updates and contact
